1. The App

Mycelium is an on-device AI application that runs language model inference locally on your phone. By using the app, you acknowledge that AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Mycelium does not provide professional advice of any kind.

2. Your Identity

Your identity on the Spore network is a cryptographic keypair generated on your device. You are solely responsible for securing your private key. Lost keys cannot be recovered by anyone — there is no "forgot password" flow.

3. LoRA Adapters

Mycelium allows you to download and use LoRA adapters (AI knowledge modules) from the peer-to-peer network. These adapters are created by third-party publishers and community members.

• No guarantee of accuracy: Adapters are trained on external datasets. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of responses generated with third-party adapters.
• Attribution: Adapters from publishers include source attribution. Mycelium displays the source but does not guarantee responses accurately represent the original publisher's content.
• Sharing: If you share adapters with the network, you grant other peers the right to download and use them. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data you've trained on.

3a. Training Data & Copyright

By training a LoRA adapter using Mycelium, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have sufficient rights to use all content provided as training data
• The training data does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• The training data does not contain confidential or proprietary information belonging to others
• You have obtained any necessary consents for personal data included in the training material
• You accept full responsibility for any adapters you create and share on the network

You acknowledge that:

• Training on copyrighted material without authorization may violate applicable law
• Adapters shared to the network cannot be fully recalled once distributed to peers
• Mycelium and Spore Protocol bear no liability for adapters you create or the data you train on
• We may remove adapters from the network catalog if we receive valid copyright complaints

If you believe an adapter on the network infringes your copyright, contact legal@getspore.xyz with details.

4. Acceptable Use

Zero tolerance for objectionable content. The following is prohibited when sharing adapters or content on the Spore network:

• Adapters trained on content that exploits or endangers minors
• Adapters designed to generate harassment, threats, or hate speech
• Adapters trained on copyrighted material without authorization
• Adapters designed to facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or deception
• Spam, malware, or deceptive adapter metadata

Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report objectionable adapters or content. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Violations result in:

• Adapter removal from the network catalog
• Publisher's reputation reduced or revoked
• Repeated violations result in permanent network ejection

5. On-Device Processing

All AI inference runs locally on your device. We have no ability to see, monitor, or moderate your private conversations with the AI. You are responsible for how you use the AI's responses.

6. Network Participation

By connecting to the Spore network, your device may:

• Advertise which adapters you have installed (for P2P sharing)
• Serve adapter files to nearby peers who request them
• Connect to relay servers when direct connections fail

You can disconnect from the network at any time. The app functions fully offline with already-downloaded adapters.

7. No Warranty

The app and AI models are provided as-is. We make no guarantees about response quality, accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose. AI responses should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Mycelium shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated responses or third-party adapters.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
